This web page has been specially designed to keep all those we care about up to date on life here in Oregon. I will post pics and little blogs about whats new in our lives.

Well, Geno for the most part has been busy working(as usual). Definitely time for another REAL vacation for him! While I was away in Myrtle Point, he was in Las Vegas for the Club convention. Then he headed to Idaho for 3 days for classes. He is home now, but not for long he will be heading to TX, possible CA. I am hoping to catch a trip or two with him this summer. We will be taking time to go to the Sacred Heart Auction April 10th. I hope we end up with a nice vacation from it. We are also planning on going to support Sadie and her Auction for the Advocacy Center. As most of you know, we are always doing something! Next years resolution "SLOW DOWN", since I know that won't be happening this year.

Feb. 6th, we rolled into Modesto for a quick cat nap before the Stockton show started at 8am. Robin, Trent and I managed to make it down to the Stockton show for a quick one dayer so I could be home for work Sunday morning! We really enjoyed getting to see Valerie and her girls. We also got to finally put a face to name when we met Joe H. And one of my favorites Lydia, she decided to attend as well. We had fun visiting and laughing with everyone. Even though Joe kicked all our butts and we were exhausted from the long drive it was a great trip. Looking forward to going back soon.

Welcome to Little/Big World

Just celebrated my 26th birthday last Sunday! Geno surprised me with tickets to a concert to see Hinder and Papa Roach(YEAH!) Two of my Favorite bands, we had so much fun! With Geno heading out of town on the 20th and myself having to work, when Geno got off at 3am he went to the store got me a birthday cake, and came home and sang me Happy Birthday...Soooo Sweet. I opened presents, and went back to bed. Something I truly enjoy and is very relaxing is painting pottery, and since I love my Cats and Bunnies I got a HUGE cat, and a cute little bunny to Paint.... I will be very busy for a while. Next we will be taking a trip mid October down to San Fran and Sacramento for my birthday, I am excited, as we all know I celebrate my birthday for at least a month! LOL...

It was a Sticky Situation, but he Survived!

Well we finally got our long over due vacation! We headed out & down into California. We got a late start, but found our way, and showed up in Newark around 8:30, just in time for Aunt Jackies excellent home cooked dinner(as always). The next day we set out for the ZOO! My favorite part of our trip. We saw all kinds of animals, even BUNNIES! I got to talk to a few(cottontop monkeys), they even talked back! We had an absolute blast. Then that night we waited for the infamous storm to roll in. With a tsunami off the coast, we were in for a huge storm... And it hit at about 3am. Winds of 58 mph, so much for my vacation! Reguardless of the storm we jumped in the car and headed out. It changed our plans, instead of the coast and downtown, we headed in land to old town Sac. Spent the whole drive in the middle of the storm, couldn't beat it... Got pretty scary there a few time. Spent the day wondering the shopping center in Folsom, picking up bunnies(yeah) and headed back to our hotel after getting soaked. We decided to head home the next day. We did however get a bit of sun, enough to somewhat enjoy old town. But Geno started to fall ill with the Flu, so we didn't have as much fun as we could have. On our way home, I finally got see Uncle Don! We stopped by his fire house for a short visit, but long over due! That was the best part of the trip I think. We eventually made it home late that night. Even though the storm took over most of our trip we made the best of it.

Ghost as a Rabbit!

December 31st 2007 My baby Ghostie Bear was hospitalized in an Emergency Vet hospital for Pets. He went in and after numerous test, and lots of blood work, no one could figure out what was wrong. He had spent over a day hooked up to IV's pumping him fluids, pain meds, and antibiotics. Nothing would get his fever down, so they drugged him enough that he really couldn't feel anything. I couldn't bare having him hooked up and helpless. With the doctors offering more tests ($5000. more in vet bills) and pretty much a guarantee he will not survive, I made the decision to have him put down New Years Eve. Very hard but necessary decision to make! He now sits cremated in my room. Well, after over a year went by and I had found my love for Lionheads, I came across this little Doe, an exact replica of Ghostie bear in a rabbit form. She was not for Sale, so I patiently waited, and a few weeks ago, I saw her again only this time for Sale, I swooped her up, and one of my best presents I gave myself, as she was transported up from Cali. this little cutie arrived here in my arms on my birthday, Thanks a Million to Sadie! Just a doll, absolutely love her..... She can't replace Ghost, but she makes a great 2nd place!

Hats off to Dawn Panda and everyone in Myrtle Point. They certainly put on one great show! By far my favorite! With Robin out of commission, Sadie and I headed off with a van FULL of bunnies headed to Myrtle Point, OR. Not sure where it was, or what we were in store for. We just knew that it was a 3 day vacation for us girls, YEAH! They let us show our Lionheads in all 4 shows(surprise). And I finally balled up and showed my first EA. I knew I was up against Betty, and the others who are by far more experienced, but I had to start somewhere. Lucky got great comments, but the poor girl was just off a litter and molting. Maybe next time! As for the Lionheads, well, Sadie rocked it with Darth Vader aka "Mini Darth". Sadie told me she wanted a miniature Darth Maul, well a few months later I finally had one. She took him to the show and walked away with 3 BOBs . I just hope my rebreed will give me a Siamese Mini Darth, LOL... I don't mind losing to my own rabbit especially that cutie! My little Sage, won a BOB as well.

We met alot of great people while there, as well as saw some old faces. Very nice to sit around and talk with Heather, Betty, Dawn, and a few others. The judges were a kick as well. And even though we were the butt end of alot of jokes with our "pet" breed, we stood our ground and had a great time laughing with everyone. We even managed to convert our bunny show neighbors, they walked a way with a little orange-vm pet bunny. By the end of day two they wanted to snuggle one, and at the end of day 3 they wanted to take "Lightening McQueen" home. Well, this was a show I questioned taking the time off to attend, and now I am glad, it was well worth it. You better believe we will be back next year!

Robin, her husband, and I drove all the way up to St. Helens, OR. for the Rabbit show on Jan. 30th. We had a nice time, Robin came home with a BOB and a BOSB. We got to meet Nita, and see Kaela and Paula again. Its always nice to have others around that share our obsession. I only took one Rabbit with me "Mini Darth", still pre-mature but thought it would be good for him. The best part of the trip was getting my Blue Seal from Theresa. I LOVE her!

visiting small world, and wondering all over the zoo
I was absolutely exhausted!

September 26th, Grants Pass Show
Butterscotch & Forbidden Dynasty

Since I missed my Rabbit show I was dying to attend down in Stockton I decided to show up here. I took 6 Rabbits to show. And I did great! In the first show I got Best of Breed, and Best Opposite sex to breed, an many Best of Varieties! We stole the show! For the 2nd Show I took Best of Breed again, and my new friend Sadie to Best Opposite Sex to breed(With I buck I bred and sold her) Poor Darth, it was a hard loss to take, the judge did say hats of to Darth, but the tort got it.  The girls and I had lots of fun, and look forward to spring for the other shows to start up again.
